Patterns of Time

This project explored the fusion of traditional Chinese art and artificial intelligence by analyzing iconic visual elements of blue and white porcelain to train AI models using Stable Diffusion. Drawing inspiration from the Mid-Autumn Festival and diverse dynastic styles, the project generated intricate visuals and animated shorts by fine-tuning model parameters. Visual effects and detailed elements were further enhanced through iterative testing and refinement.

The final work was presented as Patterns of Time: Innovative Digital Work of Traditional Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Empowered by AIGC at the Wanda Commercial Space in Wukesong, Beijing, offering a contemporary perspective on this classic art form.
